Pets Habitat remains concerned about stray cats on UAE streets. Our first emphasis is to encourage everyone to adopt/rescue a cat or kitten if possible. Sadly, we always have cats and kittens available for adoption, abandoned by their owners (never our customers!) or those born on the streets, some have been injured and “fixed” by our vet, others were ill and treated by us… When we first opened our doors in 2007, the idea was to never sell a feline at all. However, through the past years, we’ve also understood that pedigree cats have their own characteristics sought by many cat and pet enthusiasts, and everyone has right of choice of their pet for their own reasons. Therefore, we do have pedigree kittens available for sale from time to time, while we always have cats for adoption. We prefer to purchase kittens from UAE based breeders instead of importing whenever possible, but some breeds are just not available locally. We strictly observe the same ethics in importing our kittens as we do with puppies (please read our Importing & Selling page), and we follow the same steps with locally purchased kittens to ensure the parents as well as kittens meet our comprehensive health screening standard to eliminate any health issues. We ensure your pure breed kitten will be a pleasant addition to your family and not just a liability coupled with frequent veterinary visits.

All our prices are inclusive of VAT.  Installment payment plan is available.

  • BRANDY - British Shorthair girl

    SPECIAL OFFER :  21 DAYS FREE BOARDING + AED 500 VOUCHER !

British Shorthair is an easygoing cat breed; they tend to be safe around children as they will tolerate a fair amount of physical interaction and hiss or scratch very rarely. They have a stable character and take well to being kept as indoor-only cats, making them ideal for apartment living. They are not terribly demanding of attention, though they will let their owner know if they feel like playing. They often prefer to sit close to their owners rather than on them.

British Shorthairs are wonderful cats for people who work, as they are very happy to simply laze around the house while their owner is out. They do not get destructive or need other animals for company, though they do enjoy having another British Shorthair or a cat with similar temperament around.

They are not a very vocal breed but will meow to communicate with their owners, for example when they are hungry and their food is being prepared. Some do not mind being cuddled, but most prefer to keep four paws on the ground and be patted rather than picked up. (Wikipedia)

  • GUCCI - Persian boy

SPECIAL PRICE AED 6,600 after 25% discount!

Persian is probably the most widely known & most often requested cat breed, at least within our Gulf region. Persians are usually very mellow, even placid, but can be playful as well, especially while young. They are relaxed with all family members & are rarely demanding for attention, making them perfectly suitable for busier families & individuals, who still want to own a pet & but can spend just few hours a day at home. However, just because Persians aren't clingy, they aren't any less affectionate towards their owners & have been known to form a close bond with their human family. Grooming of this breed should not be underestimated & daily thorough brushing is required, which can be turned into “quality time” play. Alternatively we, at Pets Habitat, can always trim the cat’s hair to easily manageable length upon the owners’ request. Persians are also known for being occasionally fussy with their foods.

  • SUGAR - Angora girl

     SPECIAL OFFER
    AED 2,800 after DISCOUNT

One of ancient most breeds, Turkish Angoras are often considered to be ancestors of modern Persians. Having said that, there are apparent differences between two breeds to mention. Turkish Angoras have long silky hair, they don’t retain the density of Persian coats and therefore do not mat much like Persians do. Angora faces are not flat, so this breed is not prone to breathing problems. Tear stains are also uncommon in Angoras (unlike light coloured Persians nearly always displaying cry-eyes). Thus grooming requirements of Angoras are simplified in comparison. Although traditional Angoras are expected to be white, modern Turkish Angoras come in range of recognised colors. Personality wise Angoras are intuitive & involved with their humans, they are more concerned about their household members than expected of other cat breeds & bond deeply to their owners. They are very intelligent and are known to get along with other household pets and kids.

  • Dino - Sphynx boy

Any Sphynx owner will tell you that Sphynx is as eccentric as a cat can be, this is if you do not already focus on the obvious: lack of fur. Whether introverted or extroverted, all Sphynxes are extremely unique and peculiarly individual. They are very curious, remarkably intelligent and remain playful throughout their life. They can be vocal and wittily seem to enjoy the sound of their own voice. These amazing cats form deep connection and strong bond with their family, they are one of the most affectionate breeds of cats. May be my opinion about Sphynx cats is somewhat bias, as I am Sphynx addict myself and have two of my own :) Sphynx always comes when called, they often greet you at the door and may even be interested in occasional game of fetch! This breed is one of the closest cat breeds to exhibit dog-like behavior. So if you’ve always wished for a dog but must compromise on a cat – go for Sphynx! They are recommended by some experts for those of us with allergies, however, this is person to person basis, as all cats are unfortunately allergenic…
